All 13U and up players should now register for Southern Tier Teener League through the Vestal Senior League Website. We are into the 4th week of this 10 week league. I can tell you from attending almost every session that there has been a huge improvement with the players participating from week to week. It is a huge advantage come spring to have had our ball players hitting live pitching all winter and our pitchers getting the opportunity to throw to batters.

IMPORTANT FOR ALL ETBO PLAYERS – Players who have not been able to commit to this league due to other sports commitments, etc., can still play in these games as their schedule allows. Games for the 13 and 14 year olds are Wednesday and Thursday night at 8:00pm. 15 and older boys play Fridays at 9:15. Any ETBO player not currently committed to a team in this league can show up on the appropriate age night and play in a game. The cost to participate is $15 per night and you can pay any of the coaches that are working the games.

The Edge Travel Baseball Organization is having a Super Bowl Pool Fund Raiser. Here is how it will work:

Get ready to rumble!!!  To start our fundraising efforts, we are starting our very first Superbowl Squares Pool!!

The Superbowl this year will be played on February 5th.

We are conducting a standard squares pool. The only knowledge of football required is that the game contains 4 quarters. The rules are simple:

The buy-in is $20. Of the $20, $10 will be donated to ETBO to help off set each player’s tournament and training costs and the other $10 will be thrown into the winners’ pot. Each player will get to keep the money they earn through these sales in their own personal account; it is not distributed across the organization.
